INSIDE II - Inclusion in lower secondary education in Germany

The INSIDE II project (Inclusion in lower secondary education in Germany) (2021-2025) is a longitudinal study on inclusive education and the academic development of students with and without special educational needs (SEN), which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

In the second funding period of INSIDE, the conditions for success and barriers to participation of students with and without SEN on different pathways from lower secondary level to post-school transition systems or the world of work and employment are to be investigated over a period of four years. In terms of content, the UP focuses in particular on investigating the fit between interest and offer structures, on the didactic design of teaching and counselling offers and on researching the retrospective assessment of support and counselling offers in the pre-school and school sector.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
