Research Alumni Program

With an English-language newsletter, initially published every six months, research alumni stay up to date on current events, the latest research projects and funding opportunities, as well as possible research collaborations at the University of Potsdam. In addition, you will be informed about attractive announcements and job offers at the University of Potsdam and beyond Brandenburg. In the newsletter, we also present the careers of particularly committed Research Alumni and invite you to (inter)disciplinary networking events. Research Alumni are also informed about news via the Alumni Portal, via the UP Alumni Group on LinkedIn and through our liaison offices.

Research Alumni should be able to expand their interdisciplinary expertise at continuing education workshops. On a low-threshold level, the University of Potsdam wants to offer coffee breaks and webinars where interdisciplinary skills can be acquired in the shortest possible time and there is the possibility of digital networking among each other. In the spirit of "lifelong learning," the University of Potsdam also offers an extensive and recognized range of continuing education courses. The offers of the Center for Languages and Key Competencies as well as university sports are also open to Research Alumni of the University of Potsdam.

If you are interested in a renewed research stay at the University of Potsdam, the Research Alumni Program supports you in the form of return scholarships. The Welcome Center of the UP supports in the preparation phase and during the time of the return to Potsdam.
