Credits that a student has verifiably earned outside of the bachelor's and master's programs of the University of Potsdam must be recognized, provided that they do not differ substantially compared to the corresponding program or subject of study at the University of Potsdam in terms of the acquired competences. You can find out more about this under “Recognition of Previous Academic Credentials.”
The Examining Board in charge of the program will carry out the recognition of credits.
Please submit the original of the Application for Recognition of your academic and examination achievements, filled out by the Examining Board, to the Student Administration Center/ Examination Office within 4 weeks after your successful enrollment/re-registration. If any of your credits were recognized, please include copies of the respective certificates.
To ensure that you always have your own documents on hand, please make a copy before sending or handing over any documents to us.
