The Advisory Office for Master's Application and Admission is your first point of contact for any questions relating to an application for a consecutive master’s degree program with the exception of teaching degree programs at the University of Potsdam. If you are interested in a continuing education master’s program or a degree program offered in cooperation with another institution, you will find the contact information of the competent employees here. Prospective students interested in a teaching-related master’s degree program who did not obtain their first degree at the University of Potsdam should contact the Center for Teacher Training and Education Research (ZeLB); graduates of the University of Potsdam should contact the Student Administration Center/ Office of Student Affairs.

Please note that we do not provide a preliminary assessment of your academic and language aptitude.
What questions should I address elsewhere?
- Inquiries on the processing status of your application documents cannot be answered by us. You can check the current processing status of your documents in the admission and enrollment portal and/or in your user account at uni-assist e.V..
- Questions regarding enrollment, re-registration, and the application to begin studies in a master’s degree program should be addressed to the Student Administration Center/ Office of Student Affairs.
- You can address your questions on choosing a degree program and on the framework conditions of your university studies to the Central Student Advisory Service.
- Prospective international students can contact the International Office if they have any questions on studying in Germany.
Dear Prospective Students;

For all prospective students who have submitted an application for a Master's program with a deadline of December 9, 2024, please note that you will receive a notification about the outcome of your application by the end of January 2025 at the latest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding that we will not be able to provide individual updates on the status of your application during this time. Please be assured, however, that you will receive a notification about the outcome of your application.
