DigiUGov

Digitalization meets University Governance (DigiUGov) is a capacity building project in higher education funded by the European Commission. This project aims to improve institutional support for academic staff in teaching in digital formats, the exchange of resources such as training courses and the digitalizasation of administration in Latin American and European higher education institutions.

DigiUGov Online Course on Digital Teaching

We are excited to invite you to join our new DigiUGov online course on digital teaching, specifically designed for university teachers, educators, and trainers. The course introduces state-of-the-art digital teaching tools, including AI avatars, to help you create dynamic and personalized learning experiences. Jhonattan Miranda and Leonardo Glasserman from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico, and Marie Schneider and Johannes Freudenreich from PoGS developed this course.

In this course, you will learn effective strategies to engage students online, ensuring that virtual learning translates into real-life interaction and meaningful discussion. You will master how to use digital platforms to encourage active participation, facilitate collaborative learning, and boost overall student engagement.

  • Understand the potential of innovative teaching tools such as AI avatars and chatbots (such as our DigiUbot)
  • Effectively integrate self-paced online modules into the classroom
  • Gain practical knowledge of innovative teaching tools
