Funding at the University of Potsdam for Young At-Risk Researchers to Continue a Doctoral Project

The University of Potsdam has been a member of the Scholars at Risk Network since 2017. The network is committed to supporting researchers who are at risk in their home country and restricted in their work. In recent years, the University of Potsdam has successfully participated in the “Philipp Schwartz Initiative” of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and been able to support at-risk researchers (postdoc level). The University of Potsdam is committed to supporting threatened researchers and contributes to giving this group of people future prospects. With this doctoral fellowship, the University of Potsdam is setting another example for the defense of personal and academic freedom at a qualification level that has so far been underrepresented by funding instruments.
