Program Content
The continuing education master’s degree program in General Management aims to enable students to take on management and leadership roles in companies of various sizes on the basis of existing academic qualifications and professional experience. As part of the master’s program for working professionals, students will acquire fundamental business administration knowledge and approaches as well as specific management competencies. Emphasis is placed on establishing a close link between science and practice. Technical and methodological competencies are therefore taught in an application-oriented manner. The master’s program also boosts self-competence.
Course Objective and Future Career Options
The program combines management knowledge with the theory and practice of business administration to prepare students for leadership roles in international business, founding their own company, or other management positions. Thanks to the international profile of the program, students also gain essential experience in an international, intercultural context.

Prerequisites for Admission to the Master’s Program
In general, the prerequisite for master’s studies is a first academic degree, such as a bachelor’s degree.
For the master’s degree program in General Management, you will also need English language skills at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You do not need to provide proof of German language skills. You will also need to document at least two years of work experience.

Program Structure
In the four-semester master’s program, you earn a total of 120 credit points, consisting of the modules listed below and your master’s thesis. You can begin your studies in the summer or in the winter semester. The curriculum also includes a one-semester project module (30 CPs), for which students with sufficient relevant work experience can receive credits.
