Meteorological measuring station
The Chair of Hydrology and Climatology has been operating a meteorological measuring station on the Golm campus since May 2003. Another measuring station is operated at the Ecological Station Gülpe.
Among others, the following are recorded
- Air temperature and humidity,
- Wind speed and direction,
- Global radiation, Albedo
- Precipitation and soil temperatures.
In addition, two innovative micro-regenerators are operated to vertically dissolve precipitation in the atmosphere.
