Juliane Scherlitzki completed her Master's degree in Computational Science at the University of Potsdam following her Bachelor's degree. During her studies, she gained extensive experience as a research assistant, including as a tutor in the field of software engineering and as a developer in the HandLeVR project. The latter is a VR application that can be used to support the training of painters.

She is currently involved in the further development of Teach-R (formerly VR classroom) in the DigiProMIN project.
