Curriculum Vitae
Ann-Marie Gursch studied sociology in Magdeburg and Potsdam. As part of her studies, she completed two semesters at the Spanish Universidad de Málaga and a student research excursion to Maputo, Mozambique. She also worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute in Magdeburg (IFF) and at the Chair of Sport and Health Sociology at the University of Potsdam.
From October 2017 to February 2023 she worked as a research assistant at the state cooperation office for schools and youth welfare in the joint research project kobra.net in Potsdam, where she was involved in qualitative and quantitative surveys in cooperation projects between schools and youth welfare. In addition, she was building a website with an integrated database for school social workers in the state of Brandenburg and was the data security officer for the joint research project.
Since March 2023 Ann-Marie Gursch has been working as a research associate at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Potsdam. In the BMBF project BB-KI Chips, she works on the development, implementation and evaluation of a hybrid, cross-university educational offer (especially KI hardware aspects in the university curriculum).
