Evgenia (Zhenya) Samoilova, PhD is a research associate in the QUADRIGA project.
Former projects:
- March 2023 - April 2024: TrainDL project
- March 2023 - July 2023: Study on the performance of ‘Large Language Models’ in online exams
Previously, she was a research assistant at the University of Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF (Faculty of Media Studies), the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim (Chair of Statistics and Methods of Empirical Social Research) and at GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. She completed her doctorate in sociology at the International Graduate School of Social Sciences (University of Bremen/Jacobs University).

- Evaluation and monitoring
- Integration of various data sources for evaluation of data quality as well as answering substantive research questions
- Biases in various types of data (survey data, logs, event-data)
- Empirical educational research
- Use of generative AI in teaching/education
