The new rooster / Le nouveau coq

1	alors quand j’étais petite euh tous les ans on allait chez mes grands-parents au mois d’août
	so when I was a child uh we used to go to my grandparents' house in August
2	et euh ils avaient euh des poules
	and uh they had uh hens
3	du du coup c’était à moi d’aller chercher les œufs
	then then it was my turn to go look for eggs
4	enfin c’était la la sortie d’aller chercher les œufs
	then it was the the trip to go looking for the eggs
5	et mon grand-père il avait acheté un un nouveau coq et sauf qu’il avait dû se sentir menacé de me voir rentrer dans son poulailler
	and my grandfather had just bought a new rooster and apart from the fact that he must have felt threatened by seeing me get into his henhouse
6	et du coup il a il a couru
	and suddenly he he ran
7	il m’a il s’est mis à m’attaquer à me pincer et tout
	he he started attacking me pinching me and all
8	du coup euh heureusement que mon père était pas loin
	suddenly uh fortunately my father was not far
9	il m’a enfin il m’a défendue
	he finally he defended me
10	il m’a portée pour pas qu’il m’attaque
	he carried me so that it didn't attack me
11	et du coup mon grand-père était tellement énervé qu’il a qu’il a fini par le tuer
	and finally my grandfather was so annoyed that he ended up killing it
