Objective | Seminar participants are able to independently develop research questions, present and discuss them in the colloquium and investigate them within the framework of methodologically sophisticated studies. They are able to independently develop a research question as part of their own research design and develop and justify theory-based hypotheses. They are able to justify and critically reflect on the selection of suitable theoretical and methodological approaches with regard to the formulated research question. |
Target group | This course is aimed at students on the Master's degree programme who are conducting independent experiments and/or field studies to quantitatively test research hypotheses as part of their upcoming Master's thesis. |
Requirements | Portfolio examination, consisting of a seminar paper (approx. 15 pages) [75%] with a corresponding presentation and discussion [25%] |
