We generally recommend that you complete the module in the respective semester. However, you can also take the examination at a later date (e.g. in the following semester). Any ancillary examination work (e.g. exercise) already completed remains valid until the subsequent examination.

If you have failed an exam, for example, or were unable to take it due to illness, you can register for the resit exam or the next exam date. This will be offered in the following semester during the regular examination period.

The latest possible registration or deregistration for the performance recording process can be made on the eighth calendar day before the examination date. Later registration is excluded (cut-off deadline). A completed registration can therefore also be cancelled up to the end of the cut-off period.

In the case of blocked courses or course-related examinations, the lecturer may set different deadlines for enrolment and withdrawal. These will then be communicated in the course.

In principle, we do not issue certificates of course completion. Only in justified exceptional cases (programme and psychology students) will you receive such a certificate. If you require a transcript of records, please contact the chair's office. We need the following information from you in order to process your request: First and last name, matriculation number, degree programme and the number of credit points (ECTS).

In this case, ask a fellow student for help and ask about the content of the relevant course.

In this case, you can no longer take part in the current application procedure. A timely and complete submission of the required documents is a prerequisite for participation in the application procedure.

If you are studying abroad, the Chair of the Examination Board or the Examination Officer for Economics will take care of credit transfer issues.
