Module description
The students
- understand the basics of scientific theory and scientific work.
- are able to analyse a specific question using scientific methods.
- are able to assess the quality of studies and scientific publications.
- know the most important approaches to empirical research, their respective advantages and disadvantages and possible applications.
- understand the logic of experimentation and are able to investigate a question experimentally.
- have gained experience as participants in experiments through active participation in empirical studies and have acquired knowledge of the practical implementation of empirical research through collaboration in the evaluation of these studies.
