Finding a topic

Please first inform yourself about our research priorities and our current calls for proposals for final thesis themes in order to align your interests and ours. If you would like to take on one of the topics covered by a call for proposal, please write to the contact person indicated and set up an initial appointment.

You can also propose a topic of your own which you would like to work on in your bachelor's or master's thesis. In this case, please develop initial ideas about the following questions beforehand:

• What practical and scientific relevance does the topic have?
• In what larger context can it be placed?
• How can information/data be obtained on the topic selected?

On the basis of these initial considerations you can make an appointment with us to discuss the suitability of your proposed topic for writing a final thesis in our area of work. For this purpose, please contact Prof. Dr. Dirk Richter.
