Hi! I'm Vivi and currently pursuing my PhD as part of the Plants and People in Urban Green Space (PAPPUS) project. My research focuses on exploring the functional differences between established and commercial plant species in Switzerland. By investigating the impact of planting commercial species, I aim to enhance our understanding of how these choices affect the functional composition of plant communities in urban green spaces.
In addition, I am developing a trait-based community assembly model to predict the presence of plant species in urban green spaces. This model integrates various environmental and human-related factors, providing a valuable tool for urban green space management.
