Jakob Kühler, M.A.

Akademischer Mitarbeiter

Jakob Kühler ist akademischer Mitarbeiter und Doktorand im DFG-Projekt DIGILOG am Lehrstuhl für Public und Nonprofit Management. Er beschäftigt sich mit den internen Dynamiken der Digitalen Transformation der Verwaltung mit einem besonderen Fokus auf die kommunale Ebene. Zu seinen Forschungsinteressen gehören die Einführung von Innovationen im öffentlichen Sektor, wie beispielsweise agilen Arbeitsmethoden, die Umsetzung von Digitalisierungsstrategien und der Aufbau von digitalen Kapazitäten in den Strukturen der öffentlichen Verwaltung.

Jakob Kühler studierte Public Governance across Borders an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster und der University of Twente in den Niederlanden. Anschließend absolvierte er den Master National and International Administration and Policy an der Universität Potsdam. Während seines Studiums sammelte er Berufserfahrung bei einem Verband der deutschen Industrie in Brüssel, bei einer politischen Kommunikationsagentur sowie einer IT-Beratung in Berlin. Daneben war er als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft bei der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und dem Kompetenzzentrum für öffentliche IT am Fraunhofer FOKUS tätig.

Während seines Studiums war Jakob Kühler Stipendiat der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Seit März 2022 ist er akademischer Mitarbeiter an der Universität Potsdam.
