Project Workshop in Potsdam

In January 2023, all our 20 project members took part in the Project Workshop traveling all the way from Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Niger to Potsdam. We learned so much from each other and had very fruitful discussions about our activities and plans. We were able to work towards our ultimate goal of working across disciplines and combining our findings into a more holistic picture. As a major step and within different constellations, project members sat together during the workshop week and exchanged their ideas for upcoming publications. By discussing output in different groups, we came up with some very interesting collaborative paper ideas merging datasets across disciplines and countries. Thanks a lot, to everyone who participated – in person and virtually. The workshop brought us all a bit closer – scientifically but also personally! It was great having you all in Potsdam!
