Long awaited Gas chromatograph has finally arrived in Burkina Faso!
Our project partners at University Joseph Ki-Zerbo (UJKZ) have finally received the gas chromatograph, an analytical instrument that will be used to measure greenhouse gases from various land uses and selected crop types across the three GreenGaDe focus countries (Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Niger). During the last weeks, our colleagues have established suitable conditions for this device in their lab and are now training members of staff on how to operate the device. The entire team is looking forward to a successful implementation and the start of measurements at the selected sites.
