Application procedure

The typical application steps usually look like this:

  1. You first obtain general information about your options for going abroad. In addition to our website, you can use our info events as well as office hours for this purpose.
  2. Next, you should look for a university (or several) that meets your expectations as well as fits your course of study. Our testimonials and podcasts can be helpful here.
  3. Afterwards, collect the application documents listed on this page by the respective application deadline and submit them on our online application portal (see further down on this page).

Attention! From now on there are only two application deadlines per year:

Dec 01for the countries whose academic year starts in our fall term (USA, Canada, Mexico, Georgia, Israel, Palestine, South Korea
Jun  01for the countries whose academic year starts in our summer term (Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Australia)

Note: Please be aware that you must submit a separate application per country group. These groups consist of:

                         1. USA und Canada, 2. Israel und Palestine, 3. Latin America, 4. Georgia, 5. Australia, 6. South Korea

Example: You want to apply for two universities in the USA, but also for one university in Israel. In this case, you submit one application
for the US and a separate application for Israel.

4.   After the submission of the documents and the expiration of the deadline, the selection procedure takes place, based on the submitted
written documents. In the event that there are more applicants than places, selection interviews will be held. You will then receive
prompt feedback on the decision and will subsequently be supported by the International Office in the preparation and
       implementation of your stay.
