Former Professor: Prof. Dr. Wilfried Schubarth

The Chair of Educational and Socialization Theory was headed by Prof. Dr. Wilfried Schubarth until March 2021. Since April 2021, he has been retired.

Areas of expertise: Youth and (Higher) Education research, with a specific focus on violence, right-wing extremism, and their prevention, as well as teacher education, values, and democracy education.

Since his retirement, he has been engaged in advisory and consulting activities.
