Web conferencing at the University of Potsdam

In addition to the Moodle e-learning platform, we offer other tools to support hybrid teaching.

With the DFNconf services (https://www.conf.dfn.de/), DFN-Verein has been offering its users in the science sector the possibility to conduct audio, video and web conferences. Due to the sharp increase in usage in recent months, these services experience major problems with connection setup and transmission quality at peak times, which the DFN-Verein cannot compensate for in the short term despite an expansion of its capacities.

As a consequence, the DFN-Verein currently recommends that all participant institutions immediately provide their own solutions for videoconferencing to conduct online teaching events and virtual meetings.
