Software Campus Licenses
All institutes and facilities of the University of Potsdam can purchase software from our campus and state license agreements as well as framework agreements at favorable conditions and partly even free of charge through the ZIM.
The University of Potsdam has joined Microsoft's federal Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) contract.
Information on how to obtain the software and further details can be found on these pages.
For students
Students of the University of Potsdam can obtain the following software:
- SPSS (see box below)
- Citavi
During opening hours, you can use the software installed at our IT workstations.
For employees
Currently, the University of Potsdam has software license agreements for the following products, among others:
- Adobe
- Antivirus software (more information can be found here)
- EndNote
- SPSS

Windows Updates
ZIM maintains a system for distributing updates for Microsoft Windows operating systems and office solutions on the campus of the University of Potsdam.
