Protect your ideas: Property rights for founders

Our next event in the IP@UP series on 9th of May 2025 at 10 a.m. online will focus on the importance of industrial property rights for a spin-off and will take place as part of Potsdam Transfer'sStartup Week 2025.

What are ‘industrial property rights’ anyway? Why should I take care of them in good time? What do I protect with a patent, a trade mark or a design application? And how can the university help me? Questions are welcome!

Roger A. Hildebrandt (Head of Unit 2.1.3.c ‘Promotion of the use of intellectual property rights’) from the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the central authority in the field of intellectual property protection in Germany, will be supporting us at this event in the IP@UP series at the University of Potsdam.

The online seminar will be held in German.

Participation in the event is free of charge. You will receive the access data for ZOOM the day before the event.
