The integration of technology-supported teaching and learning in schools, universities and vocational training is unstoppable. LEARNTEC clearly reflects this in the combination of trade fair and congress. Almost all relevant providers of digital education will be showcasing IT-supported learning methods, technologies and best practices in lifelong learning.
The BIRD project - short for ‘Bildungsraum Digital’ - led by the University of Potsdam will also be there. The research and development project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the NextGenerationEU Fund, acts as an experimental precursor to ‘Mein Bildungsraum’, with which the BMBF is creating the technical conditions for individualised educational pathways and enabling a seamless digital learning journey from primary school to old age. In future, the networking infrastructure will allow learners and teachers to navigate through various digital education programmes. They will be able to manage their data in a self-determined manner, securely store digital certificates of achievement and access them in changing learning and teaching contexts. The trade fair will demonstrate the usage scenarios that arise from the services on offer. Further information: https://www.learntec.de/de/learntec/die-fachmesse/
