Introduction of new professors of the faculty

On March 6, 2024 Prof. Dr. Christian Rauh, Professor of Politics in Multilevel Systems (joint appointment with the WZB) and Prof. Dr. Marcus Grum, Junior Professor of Business Informatics, especially AI-based Application Systems,  introduced themselves

Since February 2023, Prof. Dr. Christian Rauh has the position of Professor of "Politics in Multilevel Systems" (joint appointment with the WZB Berlin) at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Potsdam. His research focuses on public debates about political institutions at the international and, in particular, the European level, with a specialization in the quantitative analysis of large amounts of political texts. Professor Rauh will present on the topic of "Communication deficits in EU politics."

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marcus Grum has the position of Junior Professor of Business Informatics, especially AI-based Application Systems, at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam since January 2024. His research explores how AI-based application systems can be designed based on data and process orientation, allowing them to be optimally integrated into business contexts over time. Professor Grum will give a presentation on "An Introduction to the Research Field of AI-based Application Systems" and provide insights into planned research topics.
