Information on Postal Voting
- The elections will be held by ballot box with the option to participate by post. This makes barrier-free participation in the election possible for all eligible voters at the University of Potsdam.
- Postal voting must be requested using the postal voting form linked below.
- Alternatively, you can vote by post at any polling station on election days without prior application.
- All shipping costs are covered by the University of Potsdam.
- Postal voting from abroad is possible.
- Students also receive the documents for electing the student parliament (StuPa).
Procedure for Postal Voting
The postal voting process prior to election days is described below. Postal voting is also possible during election days at any polling station without prior application.
- Applying for postal voting:
- Use the online form linked below (starting 23rd April 2024)
- 9th June 2024: Last day for applying for postal voting (prior to the election)
- From 4th June 2024: Dispatch of postal voting documents by the Election Office
- After receipt: Return completed election documents in the enclosed return envelope
- Deadline for voting documents receipt is the election period end - 20th June 2024, 16:30
- Documents must be received either at the election office in the chancellor department or one of the polling stations
- The post stamp date is irrelevant
