In May 2024, the chair members presented their current projects to each other. The two guests Mariela Abigail Chi Baack and Cuauhtemoc Jesus Dominguez Gomez were also present.
An exhibition by the Chair was presented at the "Tag der Wissenschaften" 2024 in Potsdam. As part of the “Lengua y turismo” project, it deals with the (linguistic) effects of tourism on Mallorca and Mexico.
C09 cooperation meeting from 03-06/10/2023 with Raúl Bendezú (Uni Potsdam), Élodie Blestel (Sorbonne Nouvelle) and Santiago Sánchez Moreano (Open University London) on the research of dialectal differences in Spanish syntax.
