Studying at the Faculty of Physics

In the building of the institute lectures are held in a lecture hall and two seminar rooms. Additionally to several seminar rooms belonging to the intern research groups, students can learn at tables in the hallways and in a room belong to the student body.

In close proximity to the institutes building, the University Library stands, as well as the Canteen of the Campus Golm.

To account for a good work-life balance, the student body organizes events and functions, as well as boardgame evenings all throughout the semester and breaks. In Golm there is also the universities gym goFIT and gymnasiums, where the sport courses of the universities sports center are held.

In Room 0.085 of the institute, students have the opportunity to study and spend their free time in the common room of the student body.  In addition to the office of the student body, where students may lend sports equipment, games and grills, there are also tables at which they can study and couches to recuperate.

The people in the Physics Forum always welcome questions regarding the study programs, the lectures and study exercises, as well as first semester students who may be a little bit lost!
