Journal of International Relations

The Journal of Internationale Realtions (Zeitschrift für Internationale Beziehungen - zib) is the leading German-language journal covering the entire breadth of international relations. It publishes original manuscripts that deal with substantial questions of international politics in an original and innovative way.

The zib is published on behalf of the International Relations Section of the German Political Science Association (DVPW).  From January 2022 to December 2024, Prof. Dr. Andrea Liese and Prof. Dr. Thomas Sommerer are editors of the journal, which is published by Nomos Verlag. The editor in charge is Andreas Ullmann, supported by Janika Lohse.
