In November 2023 and January 2024, our MSc and PhD students had the opportunity to take part in two intensive courses: an online scientific writing course, led by Mark Edwards from Kompetenzia International, and a hybrid statistic course taught by Dr. Miguel Alvarez, on using multivariate methods in R. Our students showed great enthusiasm and took a great effort to learn about the background theory and to actively participate in hands-on activities, too. They departed with fresh perspectives on scientific writing and data analysis. We hope to offer our students and colleagues similar training opportunities in the future as well!
