Prof. Dr. Anja Linstädter has taken over the chair for Biodiversity Research/ Systematic Botany on September 1st 2020.
Her main research interests are the role of plant communities’ taxonomic and functional diversity for ecosystem functioning in the face of global environmental change. Her current research projects mainly focus on extensively used agro-ecosystems such as grasslands in Central Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. At the University of Potsdam, she will continue her interdisciplinary work at the interface between functional biodiversity research and global change ecology.
