Experience with a broad range of geophysical methods, including ground penetrating radar, electrical resistivity tomography and electromagnetic induction measurements. Expertise in the use of hydrogeophysical methods for the conceptualization and parameterization of hydrological models, including the development and use of novel inversion strategies to adequately consider complex instrument responses. More than ten years of expertise in the application of CRNS for soil moisture determination. This resulted in more than 10 peer-reviewed publications on this topic, including studies on the effect of vegetation on CRNS measurements.
