Dr. Paul Schattan

Paul Schattan has extensive expertise in hydrological modeling and monitoring of snow water resources in the context of climate change adaptation. In his PhD, he explored successfully the use of CRNS for monitoring snow water equivalent in mountain regions for the first time and revealed new insights on the neutron-snow relationship and the importance of heterogeneity, using terrestrial LiDAR, CRNS, URANOS neutron simulations, and hydrological models.
