Doctorate at the Faculty of Arts
In addition to the ordinary university degree, the doctorate is proof of a special academic qualification through own research achievements. The Faculty of Arts at the University of Potsdam awards the academic degree doctor philosophiae (Dr. phil.) in the following subjects on the basis of a dissertation and a passed oral examination:
