The focus of the Developmental Language Disorders group is to gain a better understanding how speech and language processing change across the lifespan and what processes are affected in some of the most common developmental language disorders (Specific Language Impairment, developmental dyslexia) or as a consequence of hearing loss from birth or acquired later in life (e.g., Presbycusis). Our aim is also to develop reliable methods to investigate naturalistic speech communication (that integrates both perception and production) in controlled laboratory settings.
