Examining Boards

The Examining Board is responsible for the examination issues of the Department of Jewish Studies and Religious Studies at the University of Potsdam. The Examining Board takes care that the study and examination regulations are observed, decides in cases of doubt concerning the interpretation of these regulations and gives suggestions for their reform. In particular, the Examining Board is concerned with:

    • decisions on applications of students or
    • teaching staff concerning the utilization of this regulation,
    • the classification of courses in modules and the determination of the number of credit points on the basis of a suggestion of the respective teacher,
    • the election of the admission commission for the master’s degree program ‘Jewish Studies’,
    • the periodic report to the faculty about the experiences with the application of this regulation and if necessary suggestions for its reform,
    • the recognition of credits and exams.

    Study Commission Jewish Studies and Religious Studies
