Cosmic Sense Closing Workshop

Uni Potsdam, Campus Griebnitzsee

March 26th to March 27th, 2025

Over the past six years, the DFG research unit Cosmic Sense has been advancing the measurement of soil moisture (and snow) from field to catchment scale, with a primary focus on Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensing, alongside complementary methods such as numerical modeling, remote sensing, and other in-situ measurements. As the project concludes in mid-2025, we look forward to openly sharing and discussing our findings with the research community and interested stakeholders. We warmly invite you to join us in reflecting on our progress and exploring its implications together.

To this end, we are organizing the Cosmic Sense Closing Workshop!

The workshop will feature presentations of project findings, accompanied by some keynote talks by external speakers, and discussions including participants from the international research community and interested stakeholders. There will also be an option to participate online. If you are interested in this possibility and would like to receive updates, please let us know in your registration email. If you have any questions or require additional information, feel free to contact us.

We look forward to welcoming you to the workshop!
