Short biography

Scott Viallet-Thévenin is a postdoctoral researcher. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Paris School of Economics. He later obtained his PhD from Sciences Po. Scott Viallet-Thévenin has worked on the government and transformation of State owned entreprises in contemporary France and on the emergence and interrelations of the imperial elites of the French colonial empire. His research also focuses on the organizational transformations of the central government from a historical perspective since 2017, as part of the SOG-PRO project and now STATE-DNA. He also led a research program on the access to employment, sociability and forms of integration in Morocco. He has taught sociology and political science at ISAE-Supaéro, Sciences Po, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, and EHESS. He previously held positions at the Mohammed VI Polytechnique University (Morocco) and the University of Toulouse.
