Cloud storage of the CRC 1636

For the purpose of secure, easily accessible and sharable storage of its intermediate research data, the CRC 1636 uses a so-called group folder within the central cloud storage service at the University of Potsdam: Box.UP.
The CRC group folder includes various subfolders dedicated for each individual CRC project as well as joint folders for all CRC members or subgroups thereof.
The CRC group folder appears as a shared folder in your personal Box.UP page which you can log into using your UP (guest) account credentials (username, not email address). The link to Box.UP is given at the top of this page.
Please use the CRC group folder of Box.UP to store your CRC-related (intermediate) research data as it will persist there at least as long as the CRC is running.
In contrast, if you one day exit the UP all the data in your personal Box.UP drive will be deleted some short period later.
Note that Box.UP is not intended for long-term archiving of the CRC's reserach data and/or published data. This needs to be done using dedicated research data repositories such as Zenodo.
