Andra Volintiru, M.Sc.

Andra Volintiru is a PhD student and research associate at the Chair of Public Sector, Finance and Social Policy under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rainald Borck since October 2023. She received both her Bachelor's degree in Economics (B.Sc.) and her Master's degree in Economics and Politics (M.Sc.) from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. She wrote her master's thesis on "Political ideology and greenhouse gas emissions: Subnational evidence from Brazil." During her studies, Andra Volintiru worked as an assistant to the Erasmus coordinator at the Department of Economics at the University of Freiburg. Her research interests include environmental economics, international economic policy and political economy.
