Career Service: "Legal aspects of the job entry in Germany"

In this online lecture, Ms. Glinka - a lawyer specialized on immigration law, will inform international (non-EU) students about legal aspects of working in Germany. The event is aimed at students from non-EU countries who have a residence permit to study.

The event will be held in English.

Central topics include:
- Duration of studies according to the Aliens Act
- Change of your residence permit before completion of studies (transition to gainful employment with simultaneous continuation of studies or discontinuation of studies)
- Residence permit for the purpose of job search after successful completion of studies
- Residence permit for employment
- EU Blue Card
- Permanent residence permit
- German passport
