We are pleased to invite staff members from our valued partner universities to the 2025 International Staff Week hosted at the University of Potsdam.

Overall aim:
The staff week aims to equip participants with strategies and tools to implement their individual sustainability goals, projects or challenges through knowledge input, interactive workshops, consultative support and the exchange with other colleagues.

Learning Objectives:
1. Conveying techniques and methods for the implementation of sustainability strategies
2. Fostering the exchange between participants facing similar challenges
3. Application of what has been learned to individual projects

A supporting program, encouraging networking and cultural engagement, complements the academic schedule.

Target group:
This staff week is directed at any university staff member that wishes to make sustainable changes in their workplace, and is therefore not limited to staff members in management positions or Green Offices. Applicants are invited to bring a variety of topics to the staff week, such as making their office paper-free, implementing sustainable mobility, starting recycling initiatives, or focusing on sustainable procurement practices.

Prerequisites:
Applicants are expected to apply with a short outline of their sustainability goal, project, or challenge that they would like to implement. This outline will serve as the basis for group formation for the online-phase and in-person workshops.

This Staff Week will take place as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), and is hosted by the University of Potsdam's International Office and EDUC team. It is organised in conjunction with our partners from the University of South-Eastern Norway and the University of Rennes, France. Hence, all applicants may apply for mobility funding through their sending universities' Erasmus+ STT scheme.
