Research Interests
I’m interested in understanding how the developing heart, and in particular the endocardium, specializes into different chambers and cells with different morphology, such as the cushion cells at the atrioventricular canal. I’m also interested in elucidating what determines in cells the responsiveness to blood flow-induced shear stress.
