Current Project
NamTip - Understanding and managing desertification tipping points – a Namibian perspective
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher within the NamTip project. My work mainly focuses on detecting desertification tipping point with the help of our climate and grazing manipulation field experiment called TipEx.
Research Interests
- Global change ecology
- Vegetation response to drought and disturbance
- Ecosystem resilience
- Ecosystem tipping points and regime shifts
