Forschung
Electromagnetic imaging: development of flexible algorithms for the processing and interpretation of low frequency EM data (Frequency domain EM, transient EM; airborne and grounded acquisition).
Inverse problem: 1D, 2D and 3D imaging of the subsurface electrical properties: electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility and dielectric constant. Multi-physics approaches.
Acquisition design: testing new survey setups in order to improve the imaging problem.
Electrical properties of rocks: the aim is a better understanding of the relation between the pore-scale characteristics of rocks and the GPR, DC, EM outputs.
Applications: archaeology, hydrology, soil science, civil engineering, geological mapping.
