EDUC Achievements
3 calls for projects have successfully reached their objective!
Since the launch of the EDUC Alliance in 2019, the alliance has attracted the participation of numerous students and teachers from the 6 partner universities. One of the key goals is to initiate new contacts and develop long-term partnerships between teachers and faculty members throughout the alliance, to enable further outreach to other partners in the future or enhance purposeful international strategies.
The European Digital UniverCity has the ambition to promote and increase international mobility through virtual mobility – an inclusive and accessible approach. EDUC enables the development and diffusion of virtual mobility practices as a dynamic approach to teaching, adapted to younger generations in a socially connected environment.
With EDUC, students will benefit from a digitally-oriented, flexible and personnalised pedagogical journey mixing physical, virtual and blended mobility.
47 pedagogical projects proposed in virtual mobility
EDUC partners and their teachers have developed, in the course of 2020 and 2021, 47 courses in virtual mobility, having exchanged in best practice and scenarios. They are now able to reach out to a large student and teacher community:
- Around 15,000 students will attend the virtual courses.
- Around 245 teachers will deliver these virtual courses.
New inter-university / inter-faculty collaborations and teacher partnerships.
These key-figures allow the EDUC Alliance to establish one of the biggest european communities of teaching practitioners and e-pedagogical experts, experimenting alternative, dynamic and collaborative educational approaches.
Facilitating close collaboration between faculties will help to develop and co-lead more new ambitious projects. This virtual mobility is a success factor for teachers to target a larger audience and adapt to a changing global changing environment.
