SVB (Study Preparation Brandenburg): Impressions of an internship in Mexico

As part of the “Studienvorbereitung Brandenburg” (SVB) program, students must complete an internship of at least two weeks, which can also take place abroad. Omar Molina, for example, spent time at a school in Mexico as part of his internship last February:

“Knowledge knows no borders and can be implemented, shared and taught worldwide. Between February 10th and 21st 2025, during my internship of the computer science module (IT), I was able to check my progress in learning the subject of algorithms and complete my internship in Mexico. On the ‘other side’ of the classroom, I was able to experience myself as a teacher and, apart from teaching, observe how the administrative and logistical part of teaching works. In addition, I was able to teach five different groups and realize that each group has its own dynamic and that each person learns in their own way. Overall, I am pleased with the experience I gained during my IT internship and am grateful for the opportunity.”
