Mobility Concept of the University Potsdam

The University of Potsdam’s mobility plan was developed by HOFFMANN-LEICHTER Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH in late 2021.

It serves as the foundation for sustainable mobility for all user groups. Through a comprehensive analysis of specific mobility needs, overarching goals are established that take into account all modes of transportation, from private motorized vehicles and public transit to cycling and walking. The integration of different modes of transportation and the joint development of measures make it possible to leverage mutual interactions and synergy effects. A consensus-based, long-term set of objectives—with a medium-term planning horizon of five years and measures extending through 2035—forms the foundation of the mobility concept, which is supported by a phased evaluation of the measures and their impacts.
